Mel B says 'my hubby would never lay a hand on me'... It's the Dredge
EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
Mel B has finally addressed the rumours that her husband Stephen Belafonte abused her. The whispers started when she was rushed to hospital earlier this month, missing the first half of the X Factor finale, then returned with bruises and scratches on her body.

Mel posted a snap of her and Stephen on Instagram with the caption:
Idris Elba has hit back at people who say there can’t be a black James Bond. The hunky British actor was named in the Sony leaks as a potential replacement for the current 007, Daniel Craig – but some people were not too taken with the idea of a black man playing Bond.
He had this to say about the whole thing:
Aw Idris. Never change. (Buzzfeed)

Adele has also come out in support of her partner Simon Konecki after The Sun On Sunday reported that they were no longer living together. The singer posted a rare tweet to wish her fans a happy Christmas, and also tackled the rumours about the state of her marriage:
The couple have a son, Angelo, born in October 2012. (Mail Online)
